How these are estimated
The camera can't see sleep directly, so the app infers it. Asleep means in the crib, not crying, and still for at least ten minutes. A wake-up is crying, or three or more restless minutes in a row. Visits count times a voice was heard at the crib. The score combines how much of the time in the crib was spent asleep (half), the longest stretch against six hours (three tenths) and the number of wake-ups (one fifth). Week-to-week trends are more trustworthy than any single night.
